Shannon Stuckey

MS, OTR/L

Guided by experience and curiosity, Shannon has supported children and families for over a decade. She specializes in collaborating with families to develop a better understanding of their child’s behaviors and abilities. She incorporates individualized intervention techniques designed to uncover and promote change at the root level.

Shannon has extensive training in sensory processing, emotional regulation and relationships. She holds a certificate in DIR (floortime), Kinetic Bridging, Rhythmic Movement Training, CranioSacral Therapy, Therapeutic Listening, and Astronaut Training. Shannon also serves as a supervisor and mentor to Occupational Therapists.  She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Within her therapy sessions, Shannon cultivates a space where authentic connection can thrive, both for children as well as parents/caregivers. Shannon incorporates creativity in her sessions, and is a true believer in the power of play. Her hope is that within the therapeutic process the child and parent/caregiver come away more calm and organized in their mind, body, and connection to one another.

In her free time Shannon is a novice cook (with varying results), a nature lover, devoted mother, and loves live music (pre-pandemic). She enjoys learning about the body and nutrition, getting lost in a good novel and practicing yoga.
